In Matisesti, Alba county, at Strada Principala no. 373B, in an area well suited for relaxing and exploring the Apuseni Mountains.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 11:00. Arrange early arrival, late arrival or late check-out with the host in advance, subject to availability.
How many guests is it suitable for?
The entire cabin is rented exclusively to one group. It is most comfortable for 8 people and accommodates up to 10 guests, including children. There are 4 double bedrooms, a sofa bed in the living room and 2 bathrooms.
Does it have a sauna and hot tub?
Yes. These are two of the most sought-after features for guests choosing KayLuna.
What other facilities are included?
Direct bookings include the hot tub, sauna, equipped kitchen, barbecue and cauldron, Wi-Fi and relaxation spaces. There are also play areas, a suspended net and a swing. Ordered meals and external services cost extra.
What new outdoor experiences do you have?
We have a suspended net with forest view and a 10 m high swing, very Instagrammable.
Is it good for families?
Yes. The layout, the yard, and the quiet atmosphere also make it a strong choice for family stays.
What sets us apart from other cabins in Matisesti?
At KayLuna there is peace and quiet, with no close neighbours or guesthouses attached to the property, so guests can enjoy real privacy and a true nature-retreat feeling.
What is included in the price?
Towels, bathrobes, linen, blankets for indoor and outdoor use, firewood, fire starters, essential oils for the sauna, coffee beans, toilet paper, and basic consumables are included. Textiles are washed and sanitized by an accredited laundry.
How much does the stay cost?
The calendar calculates the total stay price for your dates and guest count. Direct bookings include the hot tub and sauna. Select any extras, including a dog if applicable, to see the stay total before entering your contact details.
What should we bring?
Bring season-appropriate clothes, indoor slippers, swimsuits, shampoo, shower gel, creams, suitable outdoor footwear, favorite games, and special items for children or your dog.
What useful equipment is available?
You have a bathtub, shower cabin, toaster, kettle, microwave, blankets for indoor and outdoor use, and a power generator for situations with power outages.
Do we need to bring charcoal?
No. The provided firewood can also be used for the barbecue, and barbecue and cauldron utensils are ready for guests.
Is the internet stable?
Yes. The internet is stable inside the cabin and in the outdoor area.
Is the tap water drinkable?
Yes. The tap water is drinkable, sourced from an spring.
Are there shops nearby?
Yes. There is a small grocery shop about 200 m from the cabin and a larger shop about 5 km away.
Who welcomes us at the cabin?
Darius welcomes you at the cabin and gives the house briefing. If you arrive in the area before 16:00, that is fine, but please enter the cabin only after it is fully prepared. If you arrive after 22:00, you receive an access code.
Is late check-out possible?
Depending on availability, an extension or late check-out may be possible for an extra fee.
Are dogs allowed?
Dogs are welcome. The cleaning fee is 400 RON per stay, separate from accommodation; select the option in the booking form to include it in the total. Ask the host before booking with several animals or special requirements.

Are there bears in the area?
The cabin is near woodland; wildlife may be present. Keep your distance and ask the host for walking advice.
What do you have for children?
We have an outdoor playground, an indoor corner for little ones, a baby cot and high chair on request, a changing table, board games, sleds and inflatable tubes in winter. We also added a dedicated page for families with children, with forest walks to the stream, flowered hills, and animals seen nearby.
Is KayLuna worth it for an autumn stay in Apuseni?
Yes. Autumn works well for a warm hot tub, panoramic sauna, campfire, forest walks and cozy evenings. We also created a dedicated autumn stay page, with drone video, seasonal images and details for autumn cabin searches in Apuseni.
What group rules apply?
Groups over 10 people are not accepted. Quiet hours must be respected, especially outdoors.
How is the cabin heated?
The cabin is heated with a fireplace and central heating. Firewood is provided by us and included in the price.
Can we sleep in the gazebo?
Yes, in summer it is possible to sleep in the gazebo if the weather and the group fit this kind of experience.
Is there snow in winter?
Snow is usually present between December and March, but we cannot guarantee it. Ski slopes are nearby and listed on the Things to do page.
How do I book?
From the booking page or directly on WhatsApp for quick questions about your preferred dates.
Can I pay with a holiday card?
Yes. We accept Edenred, Pluxee and UP. In the form, the 20% deposit is paid online, and payment can be partial or full; for the remaining amount, the owner can generate a separate link. We also created a dedicated holiday card page.
